Sivka Burka

"Sivka-Burka" is a Russian fairy tale collected by the folklorist Alexandr Afanasyev in his compilation "Russian Fairy Tales." The story follows Ivan the Fool, the youngest of three brothers, who receives a magical horse named Sivka-Burka from his father's spirit. This horse helps Ivan in various challenges, including a contest to win the hand of a princess by jumping high enough to tear down her portrait.
