The hunger games

"The Hunger Games" is a dystopian novel written by Suzanne Collins and published by Scholastic. The story is set in a future where the government, known as the Capitol, controls the districts of Panem. Each year, the Capitol holds a brutal event called the Hunger Games, where one boy and one girl from each district must fight to the death until only one remains. The protagonist, Katniss Everdeen, volunteers to take her sister's place in the Games and becomes a symbol of rebellion against the oppressive regime.
